I moved in in October of 2010. AFTER the law was passed to assure tenants of no bedbugs. I have had 3 exterminations so far and they are STILL not gone. I am miserable and marked with bites all over. It has cost me a ton of money that I do not have as I am a student. The landlord set of bomds before my arrival-as if. He was told of this and blew me off. Major building-wide infestation in conjunction with an apathetic landlord forced my roommate and I to break our lease and move out. Landlord set off bug-bombs and called it a day. We had to sue for our security deposit and damages. Infestation started January of 2009 and we moved out in May. I am assuming it is still infested.

Bedbugs first detected mid-July 2010. Landlord has sprayed our apartment twice in the last 2 weeks but not all units in the building have been sprayed. Bedbugs have returned as of 8/5/2010.
