I am the current tenant of 177 16th st apt#6. I have had a lease on the apartment since Dec. 2010. Through my entire tenancy I have never had a single issue with bed bugs. The other reports that you see on this apartment are from prior tenants before me.

I subletted from this apartment (#6) in July of 2008, only to find that the fully furnished room I was living in had bed bugs. I reported it to the landlord, who did next to nothing. After several phone calls, he came to inspect the room. When he found nothing, he decided it wasn\'t a problem, despite the fact that I had visible tracks of welts all over my body, and had found a few bugs myself. He sent an exterminator, who did not specialize in bed bugs. This, of course, did nothing to help

Bed bugs have infested our bed frame between small crevices between the wood. We had multiple bites that appeared about once a week, having a similar appearance to mosquito bites. We realized we had them when one crawled onto the sheet at night after we came home from a long weekend. Unfortunately, by this point, our bedroom seems pretty infested.
