saw the mattress outside as well last week.. was definitely covered in bugs.

when you say the "entire apartment" is being fumigated.. does that mean the whole building (all apartment units?) Also, let's hope this means they'll be coming back more than once.. because proper extermination requires multiple visits.

Bed bugs back in force. The problem with this apartment is the fact that there are tenants on the 4th floor who live in filth. These tenants were in the building before this management company took over. I assume they are on rent control. Their apartment is in a complete state of disrepair and they currently have an infestation of bed bugs. A NASTY-looking mattress and a disgusting couch have all been thrown out recently. WE are in the cleear: I went through the nightmare bedbug experience in this building... BUT. My apartment ( and I'm assuming the building as a whole), has been totally clean for at least 8 months now.

Bedbugs are on every floor of this building. I refuse to visit anymore and have told mutual friends to avoid having tenants get to close to them or to stay over. One of the worst infestations I've seen in greater NYC.

Bedbugs migrated down from the 4th floor to the 3rd floor. Three exterminator visits later, we're still seeing the odd bug every now and again.
