Less than a month after moving in (before 8/1/11, after out move in around 7/9/11), two of my roommates and I started getting small bites and one of my roommates saw a bed bug. None of us had had bed bugs at out previous apt. Then we hear about how the tenants upstairs were just getting over a bedbug infestation. Fortunately, within 3 days of finding out the buildings management company has provided us with an exterminator who's working on the place already. We'll see how it goes from here...
