y, My 18 month old daughter eventually wants to sleep with us and she too started having these makings not knowing what it was we continuously kept spraying for mosquito's through out the apartment, I at 5 months pregnant began having these same bites all over my body as well. One day in the middle of the night I woke up to see this very red small bug crawling on my daughters blanket headed toward her i immediately killed it again not knowing what it was until 2 days later as my husband and i are folding our blankets up i see a very similar looking bug crawling again on blanket my daughter and husband and i were lying on, so i bagged it up in a plastic baggy and immediately took it to my maintance office, Where we were told to go to the leasing office because we where new tenants, When we arrived there we stated our complaint and ask the question did our building 3403 foster ave ever had bed bugs and all eyes where stuck on stupid for a second. Francis the women who originally inspected the apartment for me states "yes there where issues with bed bugs in the building", I then ask "WHY would you allow my self an children to move in then"? Francis immediately calls the exterminator to come to my apartment to confirm it is bed bugs after she stated that we could have brought them with us from our old location, which we never had a problem with prior. The exterminator confirms it is bed bugs and we set up a date for the fumigation to to be done which would be in 3 days from the day, we were told to remove and clean all our clothes and Lenin and curtains and bag everything that is loose and my husband and i got right on it. We spent over 200.00 dollars on washing and drying clothes and boxes and bags to lock up everything our main concern was are we gonna have to throw out our furniture, and we were told NO by the Exterminator as well as Francis from the office so I was relieved, Until I fell asleep and was bitten up all over my legs and buttocks again my daughter now was bitten on her face.I took picture right away.I then called the Exterminator back as well as Francis who now wont take any calls from me and always seems to be out of the office, They tell me I cant have bed bugs any more there is no way, Well 3 DAYS of being bit up I'm pissed and annoyed I took a flash light to the edges of my sofa set just to see for my self, and indeed they are alive and well just living a life of luxury on my shit! My husband had to throw it out1 although we were told "you don't have to throw out your furniture" So now at 6 months pregnant we must go through the hassle of looking for another place to reside and throw out all our furniture to insure we do not bring any creatures with us to our new location.- Thank you Flatbush gardens for being such a disgusting place and infesting my life with your BEDBUGS! p.S 311 WAS CALLED FOR BOTH MY APARTMENT AND THE ENTIRE BUILDING TO BE INSPECTED.I have looked up HPD reports and they to show that they neighboring buildings also has had 311 complaints in reference to bed bugs as well SHAME ON YOU Flatbush gardens!
