ArturoSucks: Please file a complaint with HPD ASAP. I'm trying to contact you through this website but since it's public, I cannot post personal info...we are the "wegotfucked" posters and the anonymous poster letting everyone know when the last extermination was done. We moved in/out in April 2011 and lost EVERYTHING, left it behind, including a refrigerator because we weren't going to reinfest another apartment on account of their lies. Lemle & Wolff/Calper Realty whatever they call thems

elves are LIARS!!! Read their leases carefully and make sure they disclose everything! It's the law!

My family is actively fighting bedbugs.
But because no one else is, we keep getting reinfested.
The people above us move their furniture 3 am every morning to try to confuse the bugs.
We can't sleep, not only from the bugs but due to the noise
The super intendant does NOTHING we ask him to in order to fix the problem, and my neighbors won't open the door for the inspector because their problem is so extensive and they don't want the hassle of f

ixing it.
3816 has a myriad of other issues as well.
Not a good place to live.

Pestprofessionals has recently placed notices under the apartment doors asking tenants for access to their apartments to ensure that the building remains pest-free. Not really clear on what kind of pests but obviously, there's a problem...a big problem. Although the tenants can be at fault for not allowing extermination, the choice of exterminators is also crucial. Good luck.

75% of the building is infested with bedbugs, roaches and mice and the slum-dog landlord continues to do noting about it. Lemlee and Wolfe even put a sign and it read,"Apts available and no brokers fee." There are a half dozen vacant apts at 3816 and new tenants continue to move in and a few of the lucky ones are breaking their lease and moving out. Why would they even rent these bed-bug infested apts? Imagine the difficulties of moving into an apt(Uhaul trucks, manpower, time and energy)then f

inding out the apt you moved into is bed-infested...not only that but your floor and downstairs neighbors are also infested? would you take everything in that apt? why even take a chance of taking any property that could have bed bug eggs or bed bugs into your new apt? leaving all of your property is the safest thing to do. this is what happened to us. now we are looking for another apt that is not bed bug infested.

4/9/2011
THERE ARE BEDBUGS IN THE BUILDING. LAST EXTERMINATION TOOK PLACE ON THE FIFTH FLOOR ON SATURDAY APRIL 16, 2011.

Why don't you see if you can notify the NY Housing Authority or some such city agency and have the landlord fined for inadequit attention to the infestation? Maybe that will make him take this more seriously.

Bed bugs are still here in the building, most tenants do not wish to report it because of their personal situations which has left the rest of us open for re-infestation!! It's unfair and the landlord has declined to notify the rest of the building, as we have had a turnover of new tenants coming and going this summer, most people aren't aware. The problem keeps reoccurring!!

We finally confirmed the existence of bedbugs in our apartment in July. It took a month to get the landlord to send the exterminators, but since they seem to be coming through cracks in the walls and floors, we already found another one, a little more than a week after the exterminator treated the place. We found out our neighbors have had them for a year and a half. Although the landlord will send the exterminators to your apartment if you complain enough, there has been no attempt to notify or

treat the building as a whole. Given that the whole building seems to be infested their response is inadequate.

the treatment for bed bugs has been slow, five apt's on one floor alone have been affected. there are other floors that are currently affected and unreported, tenants are afraid to speak up because they haven't any clue how bad the situation is and they don't have the funds to replace items nor time to wait around for treatment. the landlord has been reluctant to help, a lot of people have lost furniture, clothes, linens, and other personal items. its an unfortunate situation that needs to be ad

dressed immediately.

This building is currently infested. I have heard rumors since the fall of 2008, and just the past month has the management been treating...but only if there is a complaint. They are not notifying all tenants of this issue! Because now so many apts are affected, neighbors are telling neighbors to get the word out.
