i have been inthis apt building for only 2 mnths and my apt is infested with bedbugs. It is absolutely disguting. it has been reported and nothing has been done about it.

Complained to landlord about bedbugs. He called professional exterminator. Exterminatior gave me list of things to do to prepare for treatment which I did. Exterminator treated apt. Landlord caulked all open wall/floor joints, also around casings and moldings. Exterminator performed follow-up treatment. Landlord advise me to infomr him immediatley if I see any more bedbugs. Havent had bedbugs since.

There is bed bugs all over the building and i am tired i am going to move. The bed bugs would never end here i have had bed bugs for more than 1 year i don't recommend this building to no one stay far away from here bedbugs are coming out of everywhere closet, doors, floors it's just terrible

On 4/27/10 it all began. Bedbugs everywhere in apartment building in co-op city mulitple dwelling units. Riverbay charges residents for extermination using unadequate exterminating companies. Colonel of Mount Vernon sprays twice but bedbugs remain in apartment. Appointments scheduled for return visits from Colonel this past Friday & Saturday but no one bothers to call or show up. Already lost a thousand dollars in throwing furniture away, cleaning laundry & dry cleaners, buying detergents,

Numerous bedbugs were found within the building apartment. The surrounding neighbor's apartment also have bedbugs. There are countless bed bug bites and they are extremely uncomfortable. Bites were seen and unexplained as it was the winter and there was no contact with mosquitos. A few months passed and the bites continued. After reading an ad for a bed bug encasement and killing a bug after it had fed, I was able to identify the problem and looked for infestation. Bed bugs in bed frame, mattress, headboard, futons, baby playpen and clothing. Mattresses seen outside in the trash may indicate that others have also had infestations in the building.
