I have been noticing bites on my arms, ankles and neck for 2-3 months now. After my initial scare that it was bed bugs I washed everything, disposed on my down comforter and pillow-top mattress and thoroughly cleaned the apartment. I clean regularly and continued to wash everything in hot water / dry in high heat; I though I had solved the problem. I went away for the holiday and didn't have a single bite.
