Awful bed bugs. I just moved in in November, and now have huge welts all over my face and neck. Called ELH to get them on the situation and they told me the earliest they could get the bug control people in was the last Saturday of the month (being Christmas Eve, when no one will be in the apartment to let them in). Not acceptable assistance in the situation, and it needs to be rectified much sooner unless they'd like for them to spread to the rest of the building.

we tried for about 6 months to eradicate them- worked with Jeff Eisenberg at Pest Away. Spent nearly 2,000 on exterminations and products. Vacuumed the entire apartment twice daily, had all our clothes in bags, put all the books in plastic containers and taped them shut.. did everything right. But after 6 months still no better. We ended up moving to Brooklyn.

It's important to say that Larry Hirschfield, the owner of this building, was completely unresponsive. THe Management c
