dlord admitted the bugs were in just the 2 apts (knowing they had been reported in other areas of the building months earlier) and agreed to pay for the exterminator to treat our apt.

Had 3 full pesticide treatments, thoroughly cleaning & vacuuming between each exterminator visit. Dealing with this situation took the months of June, July, & August; the treatments occurred on June 25th, July 9th, & August 9th. Patched all holes in walls, sealed under & around front door, & caulk sealed the baseboards & heat pipes throughout the entire 4-bdrm apt. These preventative measures were recommended by the exterminator, since the landlord was failing to deal with the problem in the whole building.

So far, our apt is again safe, & the neighbors next door & directly below us report no problems with their apts. To date, the landlord has not treated the main hallways, inspected other apts, or notified new tenants. Thus we're reporting the bedbug infestation in order to have it on record.
