enraged former occupant on 10/22/2010
Last year, there were multiple reports listed for this building, going back a few years. I am not sure why they were removed, but the building has been known to have bedbugs since at least 2006. I lived there in 2008 and had bedbugs from September to June without knowing it. When we finally found them, the landlord did not take care of it. I was treated for "hives" and on meds for the entire year and found the bugs crawling all over me on June 26th in the middle of the night...

D TO HAVE AN EXTERMINATOR COME. THEY LEFT A PACKET FROM A LICENSED EXTERMINATOR AFTER EACH "VISIT" HOWEVER ONE DAY, I CAME HOME EARLY AND FOUND THE EXTERMINATOR PACKET WAS FAKE AND NO EXTERMINATOR HAD EVER COME. IT WAS THE SUPER WITH A BED BUG KILLER SPRAY PURCHASED FROM THE SUPR MARKET. I MOVED OUT IN JULY AND THE BED BUGS WERE STILL THERE WHEN I LEFT.
Before I moved in, the apt. had been vacant for three months. I experienced severe bites within the first week of living there. Two other apartments on my floor were also infested during 2008. I lived in apt. 56. It was listed on this website THREE years in a row by different occupants as being bed bug infested. DO NOT LIVE HERE. They know they have a problem and they neglect to fix it. Year after year, they let new people move in and do not tell them the apt. is infested. I lost 1000s of dollars worth of funiture and personal belongings due to the neglect of the landlord and building owner.
The woman Karen Falco, that helped get me into the apartment is immoral and knew the entire time what was happening. She seemed pleasant but she was still showing people my apt. when I was leaving and KNEW the bugs were there. do not deal with these people, what they do is sick.
