My roommate and I were aware of a bedbug infestation in our apartment one week ago (and one week shy of being in the apartment for a month). We had purchased all new furniture and have reason to believe that the bedbugs were in the apartment prior to us moving in. Moreover, our neighbors have told us that they have had bedbugs off and on for 6 years. We have broken our lease. The apartment will be up for rent October 1st.
