I lived at 1608 Lexington Ave Apt #3 in Manhattan. I had been getting bitten every once in a while for a couple months and I thought it must be due to mosquitoes getting in through my window. Eventually I got bitten quite a bit on my exposed skin and a friend suggested that I might have bedbugs in my room and told me what evidence to look for. s. I got bit again that night and that's when I decided I had to get out of there.
I ended up moving all my stuff back to parent's house in New Jersey at the beginning of June; I have all my clothes in plastic bags in the trunk of a car (I'm hoping the extreme heat will kill anything living in them) and I guess I'm going to have to leave my furniture wrapped up in my garage over the winter. Not long after moving everything out, my roommate, who stayed in the apartment, told me that she had started to get bitten too!
