We discovered bed bugs in February, 2010, and learned that a neighbor (lived below us) who brings things in off the street had been thoroughly infested about a month before we got them. We had been getting welts on our arms and legs for a couple of weeks before I found an actual bug. Our super was great and got a PCO in right away, but it took 3 visits before we stopped getting bitten. We moved out in April, 2010, and had all of our belongings gassed with Vikane.
