One apartment has an infestation, and is in the process of receiving treatment by the extermination company that the building management is sending.

The building management refuses to send their extermination company to check out other apartments with shared walls, saying that bedbugs don't go through walls. However, the downstairs neighbor (with a shared wall) was seen scavenging through things that the infested apartment had thrown out (and double w

rapped before bringing to the garbage area) and taking some of it home!

The management company also owns another building across the street and told a tenant there with an infestation that bedbugs don't travel through walls. He had repeated infestations, with huge expenses, until they treated the apartment of the neighbor with shared walls.
