An apartment was infested and instead of informing anyone, the tenant did the infested laundry in the laundry room and the laundry room got infested. The building has not notified anyone.

Had bedbugs, but the super insisted that it was not the landlord's responsibility, although I had them on baseboards adjoining the next apartments, and not near my bed! Spent $2500, didn't want to go through the legal channels, so just swallowed it, but still wonder whether it shouldn't have been the landlord to pay for it.

found bedbugs landlord provided fumigation but had to spend thousands of $ on fumigating my special collections of photos and books off site and had to vacate apt spend another couple thousand on hotels while the landlord fumigated the apt 3 times.
