As former tenants (as of today, 6/1/2011) of a third floor apartment, we moved in to the building June 2010. By August 2010, we had discovered a bed bug infestation. Not knowing where they came from, we didn't immediately think it was a part of a larger issue in the building, which as hindsight informs us, it definitely is. We were treated by an inept and rude exterminator the management co. uses in August 2010 (who even blamed us for bringing them in, though neighbors who've lived there longer

say they have dealt with them too). We were only without them for a few months. They returned again periodically since October 2010. We would see them plainly during the day walking across the walls, on our clothes hanging in the closet, etc. The management company deals with the issue entirely ineffectively and despondently, often ignoring our emails requesting help which would even contain photos. They even threatened to charge us for a second extermination! Having lived with these pests on and off since October 2010, we're much relieved to have now moved out. Future renters beware!
