No matter what, you should report the bug to your landlord immediately, specially if you killed it and have proof. Sometimes it doesn\'t take long before one bug becomes several.

I found one bedbug in my closet. Top floor of 5 Floor walkup. No other signs of them in my apartment nor have I been bitten. Waiting to see if it's a fluke since I was in a bar the night before and threw my coat ontop of a pile of others and bug was found on the wall where my coat was hanging. Will update if I find more or hear from the landlords- so far no response to my calls.
