In 2008, the Marymount Manhattan dorms on 221 E 55 St had bed bugs on two different floors in the building. All the students on those floors had to bag up their things, wash or throw belongings out, and move out temporarily. The remaining students were only told to pull beds away from the wall and use mattress covers. I was a student living there at the time.
