Major building infestation, with ground zero being a second floor apartment that has historically refused treatment. Landlord finally hired a bedbug specialist to treat the building all at once, but this second floor apartment had more begbugs than they had ever seen, crawling up the walls, dropping from the ceiling -- literally hundreds of them.
While a professional treatment includes two visits, even the specialist admitted there'd be no way of fully exterminating this apartment without
further treatment. Thus far, apartment zero has not complained of ongoing problems, despite the fact that their neighbors (me!) still see bedbugs coming from the walls adjacent to them.
The landlord is looking into legal recourse to evict these tenants as "nuisances," while tenants are looking into signing a petition to evict apartment zero tenants.
