Bed bugs continue to be a problem at this location and I suspect that the second post here is by the landlord himself. The exterminator that is regularly sent into this building is NOT for bed bugs. If you are familiar with bed bugs you know that they need special treatment for eradication, not just regular maintenance spraying that you would do for roaches and ants. The landlord will not address bed bugs at this apartment site and they continue to be an issue.

Bedbugs were also found in an apartment on the first floor of this building in September 2008. The landlord did not provide effective extermination of the bedbugs over a series of months and the tenants eventually vacated the apartment and moved.

the bedbugs came because a tenant on the 5th floor went camping, brought them home with her and decided not to mention anything to her roommates or the super for 3 weeks, even after having noticed them. bedbugs are an unfortunate reality here in the city, it helps when people are proactive about taking care about them. people who refuse entry to an exterminator because they are too busy sleeping only exacerbate the problem for others. i am a tenant here, and thankfully the building is clean a

I am the second person to get bed bugs at this location on the 5th floor. It started around August 2007.
