just moved into the place, were told the day before we moved in by the previous tenants that they had had a bed bug issue but thought it was resolved......NOPE! started getting bitten from the day we moved in......landlord has been shady and evasive about the issue. we had a pest control operator come in and spray 3 times now, keeping my fingers crossed........the neighbor came by yesterday and she has them too, the entire building needs to be treated!!

bites seen, then discovered actual bed bugs. landlord uncooperative. finally cleaned out entire apartment, cauled huge cracks in floors, walls, ceilings, laundered everything and lambda cyalothrin everywhere. four bites again yesterday, but understand they can still live up to two weeks after treatment. this sucks. wikipedia has great article.
