I found some bed bugs in my apartment in mid-January. I immediately called management to do an inspection and get the apartment treated. I believe they might have come from a neighboring apartment so if you live in the building, be sure to check your mattress. If you don't have a full blown infestation, just checking the seams may not be enough. It wasn't until I lifted up my mattress and inspected the seams very carefully that I was able to find them.
