We moved into 132 29th street apartment 4L in Brooklyn New York, 11232 on June 11, 2007. We started getting bit on July 5, 2007. Our landlord ignored our phone calls and only took action when we called 311. It turned out the whole building has them and have had them for up to a year. Due to rent control everyone is afraid to take action. The landlord let us break the lease because he was not going to exterminate the building properly and pay for cleaning expenses. If you move into this apartment please contact me to take legal action on kurt. ktschierschky@aol.com

Though no bedbugs have been viewed, clusters of bites are apparent. There are numerous cracks in the brick walls, as well as carpeting, where the bedbugs can hide. Because they have not been seen yet, they have not been reported. What should one do?
