We stayed in the Venetian Hotel in August 2008 and got bitten by bedbugs. Fearful they somehow could have followed us home, we spent over a thousand dollars on bedbug-resistant covers for our mattress and box springs and expensive sprays. I thought high-end hotels might be less susceptible to bedbugs, but this is not the case.
