We found bedbugs on September 11, 2011. Our management has been relatively responsive in dealing with it (inspecting neighboring units - nobody else had them, so we think we got them from a hotel, despite our diligence in checking; they also treated us within 5 days of our report), but management says our building is only zoned for chemical treatments - heat treatment and cold treatments are out. We're in wait-and-see mode now to see if they're really gone at this point.
