We moved into the apartment in February. Immediately, we started getting bitten. It took us a while to figure it out, about a month.
We contacted the landlord immediately by letter, he did have an exterminator come and we deducted all our expenses from the next months rent.

They never fully went away, but they did decrease.
They are now back again with a vengeance and we are moving out.

It is disgusting.
