In the fall of 2005, my roommate and I experienced a severe outbreak of bedbugs. We often saw bedbugs crawling up the walls, along the floor, and hiding in our bed sheets. They even got into my free-standing drawer set where they hid in my jeans (I was once bitten while taking an exam and while riding the T). An exterminator was called and visited our apartment three times, spraying chemicals to no avail. The only way to get rid of this problem was to terminate the lease early and move on!
