Within the first week of moving into 11 Royal Street Apt #1, I woke up to numerous bite marks on my neck. Mistaken for a rash, I spent another night in the same room only to wake up with twice as many bites on my face, shoulders and even my arms. The pattern of the bites are distinct, in clusters and in lines, typical to that of bed bug feedings. I then went to Mt. Auburn Hospital where the bites were immediately recognized and diagnosed as bed bugs. Unfortunately, we had expressed our concern o
f bed bugs to the realtor and landlord prior to signing and were assured there was never a problem. We were mislead to believe they never existed here and that precautionary sprayings had taken place in the past throughout the building. Clearly there is an infestation that was not taken care of.
