My mom and I were going to stay here, My sister had booked a group of rooms for our family. When we checked in the room was really dirty. I didn't want to stay but my sister had pre paid for the rooms so I felt trapped. Later I was in bed watching TV when I saw a bed bug on my pillow. We then left and went to a clean hotel! The date was 11/20/12 room 305! Never again!!!!! Oh and they didn't give us our money back because room had been pre paid!!!

Stayed in Room 218 on August 25th, 2012. Woke up in the middle of the night with bug bites all over my chest. Assumed the worst and asked for a new room; came home and washed our whole in a hot cycle, vacuumed out all our bags. Manager was no help; I now have a complaint in to corporate.

Imagine my surprise to find Room 218 mentioned here... at least it confirms my suspicions.

My boss and 2 employees stayed at the Super 8 back in Nov. 7 - Nov. 10 (3 nights) The 2 employees saw some bugs crawling on the wall. They took pictures with their cell phones & we looked them up & sure enough BED BUGS. Never again will they stay there...

We spent two nights at the Super 8 in Waukegan IL. Room 218. After the first night I noticed something crawling across the bed I had slept in. I put it in a zip loc bag, asked my son to look on the internet to see what a bed bug looks like. Sure enough, it was a bed bug! I took it down to the front desk, they switched us to a different room. It wasn't until that evening that one of the motel staff told me that they had bed bugs in that room before but thought that they had taken care of them. Ne
