Room with bedbug 2209

New room 1202

Arrived at the hotel on sunday march 24th 2013 at check in at 4pm

Monday 25 th march 2013 woke up with only 1 bite thought was maybe a mosquito bite

Tuesday 26th woke up with 3 more bumps thought was an allergic reaction to the hot chocolate had the night before.went to cvs at the florida mall and bought benadril. Had two and fell asleep.

Weds 27 my body was full of big hives when i woke up and my son as well. My husband only had only one.

He decided to check the bed when we found 2 bedbugs one was really fat full of blood the other was little moving around the bed. I took pictures And video of the bedbugs and pictures of my marks.
I went and spoke to the manager who said " if you want to leave to another hotel is fine we cannot control any bed bug coming into the hotel, then he said he couldn't refund any money back because they endure alot of expenses and bedbugs are not in his control" then he moved me into a room that smell like pure cigarettes. I said i wouldnt stay there with that smell and then they moved us to one of their suites we checked the bed to make sure there was no bed bugs. My son is filled with bites! one of their employee told me that the people before me had the same issues and that management only sent to clean the room and not exterminate anything, that they have previous incidents and they don't take the necessary precautions.

Like at 4 pm was not feeling good my ankles were swollen and felt odd, my breathing was harsh and i was a lil dizzy and also felt my heart beating fast went to the doctor who told me i was having an allergic reaction to the bites and if i didnt threated on time could be worst. They gave me a cortisone(steroids) shot and pregnazone pills and a ointment of the same steroids. After the shot the swollen felt better but was very itchy for days.

MANAGEMENT was very nasty and threated us like that was normal. they charged me all 3 rooms we rented no sorry's no apologies just that they cant do anything. this is very serious because now i see this has been a prior issue and obviously they are not doing anything about it. they should be more careful especially because families stay here. I only thank God that i was the one allergic and not my son!

4-8-2013--My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites near FL Mall in a suite for a business trip to Comcast , located nearby. When we woke up the following morning, we found bed bugs crawling all over our bed. There were blood smears all over the sheets so we were bitten many times during the night. I called Mr. Hill, the clerk on duty. He said he was going to submit a work order to correct the problem. When I went to check out I took along some captured bugs on a piece of scotch tap

e—some bloody—to show Mr. Hill. He said he did not want to see them and then presented me with a bill for $82.55 for the night’s stay. I stated that he cannot be serious to charge me full price to sleep in that filthy room full of bedbugs. He stated that he could not do anything and that I had to speak with the manager when he arrived. My immediate thought was that this is not the first time that this problem has occurred at this hotel-I was correct. I phoned the hotel later in the day and asked to speak with the manager. After a short delay, the lady on duty transferred me to the manager. The manager did not answer so I left a message on the voice mail explaining why I was calling. I left two phone numbers and requested a call back which I never got. I called back to the hotel later that day and asked the same clerk on duty to please tell the manager to call me. She said she would tell him when she saw him. No call ever came.
On the way home we contacted our pest control company and they instructed us to not take any of our belongings into our house, but to put everything into black plastic bags along with bug spray such as Raid and place the bags in the sun for a day. We placed all of our belongings, including toiletries, clothing, computers and suitcases in bags as instructed.
As a good customer, I feel we have not been treated with respect. I checked the Bed Bug Registry and found that there are three other complaints listed for this hotel, soon to be four. Who knows how many other incidents there were not posted.

I arrived at the Quality Inn & Suites near Florida Mall on Saturday, 7 April 2012, for two nights.

I woke up to go to the Loo/restroom at 5.00 am on Sunday morning as a regular trip to the Loo/restroom. On my return to the bed I saw Bedbugs all over the bedhead, the wall next to the bedhead and on the bed and sheets I was lying on. There were splashes of blood on the sheets.

I immediately shook my night clothes off, put my jacket on and went downstairs to the receptionist to report what ha

d happened. I was in room 1203.

He apologized and transferred me to a ground floor room. This was room 1135.

On Monday, I headed to my extended stay hotel and on Wednesday I noticed I started having rash my arms, neck and face. Went to the pharmacist and he said the rash looks like Bedbug.

I went online and looked at pictures and they are exactly the same.

The extended stay hotel got me to wash all my clothes and inspected my room. They are very supportive.

As I wrote this statement, I am still covered in rash that get itchy sometimes. I am using something called Clorozoime at the moment.
