Bed bugs were discovered in my unit in late February. The building management was quick to have the room inspected and to have the first treatment performed. However, they failed to inform myself and my roommates of when the followup treatments were to be performed. This caused the next treatment to be canceled at the last minute, and there has not been another treatment for the past month and a half.
I am still finding bed bugs in the unit. The building management, while claiming to be tryi
ng to get their approved exterminator into the unit, has failed to do so, with this exterminator failing to show up for one of the treatments and reportedly failing to return calls. At the same time, the building management refuses to agree to compensate us if we were to arrange an exterminator on our own.
