I've lived here for nearly a year now and never encountered a bed bug...Please be careful when buying used furniture - this is how people are getting them.

Living here was awful. Though the building management tried very hard to solve the problem they could not. I lost a lot of money and had to move. Not to mention over 130 bites all over my body! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! It is not worth the risk, no matter how cheap the rent is or how nice it looks from the outside!

I'm a really clean person, but got bed bugs after living here 5 months. Besides the bugs, the building is extremely old and noisy. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I have lived in Tivoli for a year and I am yet to come across any bedbug.Sorry for the folks who were bitten but really, I love this place and the bedbugs are not there anymore, at least not in my apartment.

I've been living here for 6 months now. I have been bitten so badly right when I moved in and through out this period that I've developed an allergic reaction to the bites. After I get bitten, I would develop hives all over my body. I've complained to the building management and they have sent the exterminators many times to treat the apartment. It never works.

Yes - this building has bed bugs. I moved in during April of 2010 and by June 2010 I had a full on infestation. After I realized I had bed bugs, I did all the necessary steps to treat my apartment, including notifying management. Supposedly, management brought a company in to treat the apartment, although I'm skeptical. I fog my apartment every weekend, keep my bed on an island, and still have some of my clothes in plastic bags. So far, they haven't come back....but who knows.

February 2009 - Though I have not personally experienced the bedbug problems here, I feel the information I was told needs to be recorded. While stopping by Tivoli Gardens to put in my formal application, I came across a man and woman who were moving out. I took the oppurtunity to speak with them and asked what it was like to live here.
