In August 2009, a pest control company confirmed that I had bed bugs. The location is The Morris Apartment building at 435 16th St, SE, Washington, DC 20003. After speaking with elderly and disabled neighbors, I discovered that this is a recurring problem and that some have been living with bed bugs for years. It was sad to see my neighbors except the fact that they're living with bed bugs, and even worse to see how vulnerable their community is.
