anner, and we do not intend for this to be the way in which our residence is publicized.
When we moved into our home in July of 2009, there were no bedbugs or any pest infestation of any kind. Neither our landlord nor any of our neighbors/other tenants in the building had ever dealt with bedbugs at this address. In August of 2010 we traveled to a vacation destination for approximately one week. One week after returning home from this trip we began to notice what appeared to be bedbugs in our bedroom; no where else in our home or our building. We notified our landlord, who immediately made arrangements to have our unit inspected by a professional exterminator. The exterminator subsequently treated the unit once and then followed up again two weeks later with a second full treatment to ensure the pests had been fully mitigated. The extermination was completely successful: we have had no signs of any bed bugs since August of 2010.
