I live apartment A3, which is a studio apartment above a laundromat. The person whose apartment shares a wall with mine just informed me (8/3/08) that her apartment has bedbugs. She just threw out her mattress and box spring. I have been getting bites now for the last 4 days and each day it's in a different spot. I have not contacted my landlord because I wanted to get more information. I am losing sleep because I have a fear of insects and the thought that I may be sleeping with bugs frightens me. I am itching like crazy, especially on spots where I haven't been bit because it's psychologically bothering me. My place is not cluttered. I keep it clean. I can't afford to stay at a hotel, and I'm afraid that I'm going to bring these things to my fiancee's house and I don't want to transport them to her. I'm so embarrassed because of my fears. I just want these things to go away!
