Neighboring building had several infested apartments. Those tenants stored items in our basement while their apartments were being treated. Several apartments in my building noticed bedbugs shortly aftwards. The infestation grew to be a huge problem, and despite having exterminators show up at least once a week, the insects seemed to be uncontrollable and would not subside.

Because of months of complaining to the owners, I was eventually "asked to move out" (shortly after I threatened legal action.)
