Nastybug on 11/10/2009

I live on the 4th floor and woke up this morning with red welts on my back. I checked under the overhand on the side of my bed after remembering a note about bed bugs from the management a few months earlier. There were at least 10-15 visible bugs and I immediately reported the problem to management. Although they are paying to have Terminex come I was wondering if anyone else had recently had any problems?

I lived on the seventh floor there. They sprayed once for the bugs, but only on certain floors. It seemed to help briefly, but the problem returned. I agree with the other tenants statements about the managements approach to the problem. It was a really gross problem.

We have had a problem here for about a month. We live on the 8th floor. Management has not posted ANY response about solving this problem.

I live on the 6th floor. I found bed bugs after two months of mysterious welts (bites) all over. I spoke to a neighbor down on the 4th floor, and he indicated that he has the problem as well, but is not absolutely sure. It is nasty, itchy and psychologically damaging. Seems to me it is a building wide issue, yet management has not posted warnings or anything. I have not received response from her, other than to say that I am locked into my lease. I found bed bugs infested in my sofa two days ago. It was bad, had to throw the entire thing out. Looking at my options, including moving ASAP. I see a lot of sofas thrown out, never knew why. Now I do. It is nasty and management is unhelpful.
