I rented an apartment at this building in Denver. After living there a few weeks I realized I was getting bit while I slept. It was a few more weeks before I realized what it really was when I found some bed bugs in my bed.
I contacted my building management and they had me treat my clothes and had a company come and spray for the pests.

This process of removing and treating my clothes while someone sprayed was repeated 4 times. Each time I found more of the pests after being back in my apartment for a few days.
After speaking with a neighbor in the building, I was told that the previous renter of my unit had bed bugs and that even though it had been treated various times that he had still moved out.
I spoke with the building management again and told them that the contract I´d signed had been under false pretenses. I learned from other renters that bed bugs had begone to appear in their apartments as well. I negotiated with the company to terminate my contract early as long as I didn´t ask them for any money for the loss of my things and that I didn´t try to legally attack them later.
