WOW!!!! We are your neighbors at 5977 S Gallup St and know from several other units and from the exterminator himself that there is an outbreak. Before we lose all our furniture again, we are trying to pay for getting out of here :( $$$$ ALOT! The manager said that they are a common problem and easily taken care of, yet I as well as many of my friends, family members, and neighbors know that is not true. Are we just supposed to sit and wait to be fed on? Why won't they inform anyone when the b
ugs have been found in every building here? They basically told us that we were freaking out about nothing. Oh yeah did I mention we have kids? The management is keeping it quiet like the bugs won't go anywhere else. I've seen it happen. They spray one unit at a time and wait until someone else gets eaten up. Uh huh:p Thank GOD for our neighbors letting us know. Even my kid's teacher who lived here lost tons of his stuff and I for one am not willing to start over again. The saddest part about this is that there are many elderly here and losing any blood could be detrimental to their health. AHHHHH!!!! Do landlords need to notify the tenants?

i moved down to Littleton from winter park in may. i found a little apartment i could afford. a month later there was a couple of my nieghbors were complaining about bed begs. i didnt think anything of it at the time. a week later i had the extermanater do an inspection on my apartment to be safe. he found some. i freaked out and the apartment complex had the exterminator bomb my apartment. soon after that i moved one floor down to live with my girlfriend. had no problems for a couple of months.
... on november 28th.. my girlfriend found a couple of bugs crawling on her. she asked me what kind of bug is this? i looked and sure enough it was bed bugs. we started looking at our bed the furniture and everything else. After we got grossed out....we had a bag full. i showed my landlady the bag on monday morning. she agreed to bomb the second apatment that i am living in. 8 hours after the fumagation......i found another bed bug crawling on my wall. the office and the maitnence supervisor told me this fog would not only kill them, but the residue would prevent the bugs from comming back.8 hours after the fogging... I found not only a fat live well feed bug on the wall behind my headboard, inches from my head. I want to know my rights as a renter and what I should do? I am thinking Tom Martino needs to do a story for us.
