September 12, 2011-My first night here, everything seemed fine and clean. I woke up the next morning and my chest was covered in bites. Today, I have more bites and could feel my skin crawling while just trying to sit down in the room. Had to get out to do normal things (check e-mail, etc.) because it was intolerable. The office is "closed for business" on Wednesday, so I can't even talk to anyone about it, but given the other review I'm not too optimistic about what their reaction will be.

I move into the Sentient at 179 Julian st about29 days ago. The place is and has been, according to other residential tenants, infested with bed bugs for months now. I have complained several times, in writing, shown them bites and even a live bug! They keep saying the same thing that the exterminator are coming. I dont feel I should have to pay rent until they are under control but dont want to get thrown out either because I dont have anywhere else to go and have a 4year old. Please help!
