Bedbug Killer on 09/08/2012
It's been two (2) years. You can have the exterminator over as many times as you want! It will only stave off the problem for awhile. The whole building is INFESTED. If you wanted to do it PROPERLY, you'd have to evacuate the entire Tenderloin. And even then, I'm sure they'd be back! So far we have spent,on new beds, furniture, and bedding-- NO JOKE-- 7k!! NO JOKE! CRAP!!!!! Somebody put a class action suit against the owner. The joke was that the judge said we could all claim 1000- from the o
wner!! That wouldn't replace my sheets, let alone my furniture! But, then again, how responsible IS the owner? TOO MANY BUGS IN THE "TL" to even begin to eradicate them!! I'll grant you-- we are NOT in the dead of the "TL." We are adjacent to the federal building. We were surprised to see those little pests show up, too. Oh, well. We have 4 more years before we can leave state and buy a home. And in case you're wondering--- YES, we ARE leaving behind EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved in to this building June 1st. I had never seen a bedbug before in my life. A few weeks after I moved in, I started noticing itchy bumps. I had no idea what they were, so I ignored them at first. A couple more weeks went by and I saw a bedbug crawling on the wall near the bathroom. I did not know that it was a bedbug because I had never seen one before. I have a cat, so I thought it was a weird-looking tick and flushed it down the toilet. Not long after I saw that first bedbug, I saw anot
her one on a pillow of my couch. This time I caught the specimen and compared it to pictures of bedbugs on the internet. Yes, it was definitely a bedbug! I immediately phoned my building manager to report the bedbug infestation. Management sent an exterminator right away. Meanwhile, I purchased bedbug encasements for my pillows and mattresses and washed everything cloth that I could. After three visits from the exterminator and a lot of hassle, I have been bite-free for a few weeks now. However, I would not be surprised to get bedbugs again because they exist throughout this building. I live in an apartment on the third floor.
