I'll grant you-- we are NOT in the dead of the "TL." We are adjacent to the federal building. We were surprised to see those little pests show up, too. Oh, well. We have 4 more years before we can leave state and buy a home. And in case you're wondering--- YES, we ARE leaving behind EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

her one on a pillow of my couch. This time I caught the specimen and compared it to pictures of bedbugs on the internet. Yes, it was definitely a bedbug! I immediately phoned my building manager to report the bedbug infestation. Management sent an exterminator right away. Meanwhile, I purchased bedbug encasements for my pillows and mattresses and washed everything cloth that I could. After three visits from the exterminator and a lot of hassle, I have been bite-free for a few weeks now. However, I would not be surprised to get bedbugs again because they exist throughout this building. I live in an apartment on the third floor.
