I've been staying at the above address for almost 2 weeks since arriving to California, and I must say that the conditions are horrible. I figured I'd dodge the bedbugs by sleeping on the sofa and lo and behold I fell victim to the fleas. I wish that I could take pictures of my body to show the seriousness of the situation, but honestly, I'm embarrassed. But just know that I have bites going from my neck, all the way down to my ankles and every night except one I slept fully clothed and for a ma

ximum of 3 hours. I can understand how the problem became so serious though, seeing to it that uncollared indoor/outdoor cats are allowed to roam free about the house. The house is literally pests' turf with the bedbugs running the upstairs, the fleas claiming the living room and of course the roaches laying their own claim to both the bathroom and kitchen. Needless to say that none of the 3 are taboo in the house. However the manager's unwillingness to care enough to remedy the situation prevails leaving the rent-paying tenants to suffer. Note, that as of August 3, 2011 no exterminator has been called, furniture been replaced or any other proactive actions have been taken to make the abhorrent situation any better: and from the looks of it, nothing will be done. At least not in the near future. So for now I'm on the mission of trying to contact the owners to find out if they know about the situation at the house and the carelessness of the house manager to see how I can help because I think it's shameful and wrong that when you pay to stay anywhere, no matter how much or how little it cost, that the most comfortable piece of sleep one can get is on the sofa on the porch. Especially when all it takes is for the manager to simply do the job that he's there for.

The management has been extremely receptive to my requests. There was a person who brought them in and the management provided people covers, spray and more. In addition I've seen an exterminator on the property three times in the past week. I noticed all beds and furniture are being replaced. Fortunately I haven't had any problems lately.

THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!! Cant even put my feet on the ground without them attacking me. Then the manager refuses to do anything about it....Its really getting tiring. alot of people here can;t do much cause were already in low income situations, but we shouldnt have to live like this.
