Checked into private room in a clean, cheap hostel where I've stayed previously.

Bed was bunkbed style, built from wood. Removed bedding and mattress to do bedbug check.

Nothing found on mattress. Found characteristic bedbug dung spots on bedframe, on almost every slat, near the wall. Also found many dung spots in the center of the bedframe, near empty holes where some screws had once been.

Did not find any live bedbugs, but may have found a shed bedbug skin pounded flat by the mattress
