In late February 2008 a severe bedbug infestation was reported in an apartment on the fourth floor. Apartment management informed the tenants by posting notices. Consequently, bedbug infestations were reported and confirmed in at least four other suites. The infestation in one of the suites was so server that it had to be reported to provincial health authorities. A public heath inspector was dispatched and examined the suite. On early March 2008 a number of suites were treated three times.
