I too stayed at this location, the hazelwood, and experienced for the first time the joys of bedbugs. i stayed there for a month in august 2008 in a room on the second floor. actually managed to find two of the buggers. the building IS kept very clean. didn't bother the staff. i'm pretty sure they are well aware of the problem.

I moved to Vancouver in July 2008 and when I moved into room 221 and after a few nights I found my body covered in bites. Talked to the owners of the hotel and they took care of the problem. After a few nights I got bites again. More updates as I go along.
