As a council member with this building, I can say we are pro-active with any pest issues that arise. We inform surrounding units as soon as we are notified of a bed bug issue and we make a point to inspect all surrounding units and treat all units surrounding any infected suites.

Bed gugs are not an isolated issue in Vancouver and can only be treated when the issue is reported. The issues at this address have been limited and promptly dealt with.

While living at this location I received a notice under my door telling me that bed bugs have been found in certain units inside this building. This letter was dated August 26th/2010. Today, August 31st/2010, I myself discovered bed bugs in my unit. We have also had an ant infestation in our unit earlier this year.
