This is a horrible building with a property management company who doesn't care about anything but there bottom line. I have protected my apartment from bed bugs with a protector however my neighbours had bed bugs and they didn't even bother to check my unit.
I had mouse problems and their solution was to simply put out poision. I moved all my furniture and cleaned but kept finding droppings as they failed to repair the holes in which they were getting in.
The
resident manager is decent but they don't act on issues and all they care about is their bottom line. It's not worth living here. Don't you think there is a reason why their rent is cheaper and there are always free apartments.
**This past months I've seen numerous beds and couches thrown out by the dumpster***
WHOM EVER WROTE THIS ABOVE STATEMENT GET A LIFE BEDBUGS ARE THE THING OF THE FUTURE. WE ALL HAVE TO TRY TO HELP MANAGEMENT TO DO THEIR JOB. IF YOUR SO WORRIED WHY THEY NEVER CHECKED YOUR UNIT THAN OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND ASK. i REALLY BE A KICK OUT OF PEOPLE TRYING TO PASS THE BUCK ONTO THE COMPANY OR THE MANAGERS THINK PEOPLE SHOULD RETHINK BEFORE THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTHS. I DON'T LIVE THERE BUT STILL IT SETS ME OFF WHEN PEOPLE TEND TO BLAME THE MANAGER OR THE COMPANY. WISH YOU ALL WOULD GROW UP AND KEEP YOUR POOR REMARKS TO YOURSELVES.....

Found bedbug in my bed yesterday.
Was not sure until I look up and see pix. Yuck.
Today, killed 2 L, 3 small-med, flip mattress see 3 more, trapped two inn bag, put bag in jar, used bbq lighter and ran it slowly around perimeter of matress and box spring, but going to throw it out (don't do this, mattress got burned in spots and in hindsight dangerous).
bought Diatomaceous Earth, bags etc. painted Diatomaceous earth around bed and wall, boookcases touching
or by bed.
Just started packing stuff. think will sprinkle some D. earth in. will read more though.
will rent locker and call manager reporting tomorrow.
WHO EVER WROTE THIS HELLO IS THAT THE ONLY WAY TO GET ATTENTION? IF YOU REALLY HAVE THAT PROBLEM MOVE OUT AND THE BUGS WILL FOLLOW THEY ARE EVERY WHERE I KNOW I MOVED IN FOR A YEAR AND COULDN'T TAKE IT SO I MOVED OUT. BUT NOW THAT I KNOW WHAT I KNOW NOW I WISH I WOULD HAVE TOUGHED IT OUT....

To whom ever wrote this hello I moved out in 2008 and I found the manager to be on top of everything. As well the company does care but they put up with pigs and complainers like you. For all the stuff behind the dumpster thats from ppl that just drop the stuff off does not mean its from that building...And futher more if ppl would tell the company they have bugs instead of not saying anything then they would be under control. And that building does not have free apartments or cheep rent so i think your at the wrong building...If you still live there move out

Just want t say you all that cry about bedbugs and mice "HELLO" we live in B.C. There is an out break all over Canada and ppl have to learn to tell the company they have them for starters.I use to live in the building and the company did wonders for my unit so as far as I can see its you the people that live there. Stop buying used furnature and beds and stop crying your the problem.Thats why I moved out cause of the ppl in that building not doing what is asked of them they are lazy and think it
s not them.

I don't live there but the words "BED BUGS" were spray painted on the building this week... I'd consider that a warning not to move in... ymmv.

Started noticing bites approx mid Feb to Mar, didn\'t know what they were. Found 1 bug Thurs Apr 2nd and then tore apart bed frame and found a few more. Fecal spots on wood frame visible. Put wood frame on porch as asked but didn\'t like that so I destroyed every bug I could find on the frame by using tape to catch them. Dismantled frame slightly till unusable and disposed of in garbage skip with written warnings \"do not touch, bed bugs\". Scoured everything in the bedroom and found two in the
baseboards which I killed with tape. Fumigator came in on on Tue Apr 7th and found one live bug on mattress but that was it. Everything was seemingly fine for a few days till we found one more, scoured the furniture and found one or two nymphs or juvenile bugs under love seat, killed them with tape, also found shed casings. The infestation seemed slight but may not be at all, they are elusive, but we can\'t seem to find any adults at the moment. Fumigator returning on Tues. Don\'t know what company is doing the fumigating but Vancouver Bed Bug Control seems to boast a successful approach to eradication http://www.vancouverbedbugcontrol.com/default.asp

For two months there have been off/on signs of bedbugs in several appts. Fumigation was in 4 times, but I still have bites. They may be on their way out, but they take forever!
