My Mother lives in an appartment at 6960 Salisbury Ave my sister has been in touch with the landlord who does not want to do anything about it, she has spent many dollars trying to rid them of these pests...my Mother is 85 years old and has sores all over from these...people who run buildings and do not take care of these issues should be charged with abuse as it is not something that anyone should have to endure.

For about a month now we have seen bed bug problems and we notified manager about it and told us that the man who takes care of building is away and not sure when they are coming back. They dont care about it, maybe sometime the manager might find the bedbugs in their apartment, but they will then take care of it quickly but only their own apt. I now know I can call City Hall and complain. I will absolutely do that because my children are covered in bites.

we moved in this appartment 6 months ago. then after a week of staying, i was surprised to see we had red bites on our body. we didn't know about bed bugs before, but i heard it from my friends i made a research. i confirmed that there's a bed bug in the unit, because i saw a skin of an adult bed bug. i am not aware that it is bed bug, i thought just an ordinary dried insects on the window. i told the manager, and rented me a steamer then i washed all sheets and pillow cases. i also bought a RAI
D insecticide. Then it was gone. Thought our nightmare is over, but last month it went back again and it has become intense. I saw lots of black stains in the bed frames now! And i believe the landlord will not shoulder or even share with the pest control. Very embarrased we are, because we had a visitor who sleep over with us, and the following morning he had a lot of bites!!! We are not happy on this bed bugs!

As the manager of this building I wish to have this address removed from this site as there no longer are bedbugs in this building after consistant spraying.
As was reported by a medical officer, "People occassionally go to the Downtown Eastside and do naughty things. People take them back to their spouses and their spouses wonder where they got their bedbugs from".
Worth thinking about...
