A professional pest control company was brought in to exterminate the bedbugs. After several sprayings, we can confirm that the building has been bedbug free since July 2011. The bedbugs were isolated to two suites. This is a major problem throughout Edmonton. We take it very seriously and try to work with our tenants to make sure the building remains bedbug free. Tenants do not want them in their homes and we fully agree with them.

Sarah did receive a full refund of her damage deposit.

The day before I was to move into Leslie Ann Apartements, run by Ayre & Oxford, the building manager "kindly" told me the building had beg bugs, but also told me there were none found in my unit.

The day of my move I went in early to check around for myself, and found some in the unit I was to move into.

I told them I was not moving in to a place that had not yet maintained its bed bug problem, cancelled my rent cheque, and now I get to battle it out to get my damage deposit back.
